The TwikFit software solution enables a seamless digital workflow for custom-fit orthoses and sports gear such as 3/4th insoles, wrist and hand braces, and helmets.

Discover below how TwikFit simplifies the intake and treatment of a patient and how quickly the process is completed with minimal effort but reliable and high-quality results.

  1. A patient visits the medical expert (from now on referenced to as ‘expert’) for a custom-fit medical wearable or sports gear such as an insole, wrist and hand brace, or a helmet.

  2. The expert, logs in onto the TwikFit platform with a personal and secure log-in.

  3. The new patient is either registered in the TwikFit platform by the administrative staff, or by the expert themselves during the first consultation. This step takes about 2 minutes.

  4. When the new client profile is added, the expert can execute the 3D scan on the patient. This step takes about 5 minutes.

  5. When the 3D scan is completed, the expert uploads the measurement data onto the TwikFit platform.

  6. From here on, the patient’s presence is not required anymore.

  7. When the expert has all the required information, they can select a product template available in TwikFit to start the design flow of the orthoses or sports gear. This step takes about 5 minutes.

    • Align 3D scan

    • Set indicated reference points

    • Define functional customization

    • Define aesthetical customization

    • Export and order the finalized product

  8. After the product is designed, the expert can immediately order the product via the platform. The production file is automatically sent to the right production facility.

  9. When the product is manufactured, it is sent back to the expert’s office or directly to the patient.

  10. The 3D scan and designed orthoses or sports gear are saved onto the TwikFit platform and can be reused, altered, or reordered at any time if necessary.
